I am very thankful for Dr. Jess Tamminga and all the chiropractic work she has done not just for me but also my newborn baby. I’ve been seeing her for over a year now and she has helped immensely with my neck pain and other issues due to scoliosis. My baby also had a large hematoma on his head from birth and her knowledge and skill helped in it disappearing in just 8 weeks. We’ve been seeing Dr. Cheryl for our infant son —just to check in after childbirth. She is the most thorough, professional and personable Dr. around! Seems like she went above and beyond to thoroughly assess and explain everything. We have noticed positive changes (rolling over, regular bowel movements, etc) after every single adjustment! The office is so welcoming — comfy couches & chairs for nursing, kid-sized furniture, a toy room for older children, and the most friendly staff. Each room also has toys for kids and the tables are set up to look like animals for the kids. Even stickers on the ceiling for kids to look at during an adjustment. I have been a client of the WVCWG since 2016 and have always received the most phenomenal care. I want to give a special thanks to our family chiropractor Dr. Janice Oldham who has cared for my spinal health during my last pregnancy and into motherhood. She kept me comfortable and helped keep my body and pelvis in alignment for a smooth birth. She has helped me relieve pain and tension from the demands of motherhood as well. I was nervous to bring my kids in - not because I have any doubts about the need for chiropractic care from the beginning of life - but really because I wanted it to be a happy, positive and relaxing experience. Our appointments have been all of that and more. My kids love being adjusted by Dr. Janice and she has a really playful and flexible approach that makes it a fun experience for them. I have been coming here for 6 years now and had had almost every service. If your pregnant they are amazing with helping you feel comfortable, preparing your body for baby and helping baby make it’s appearance! All three of my kids come for adjustments as well and both my girls started as infants (they get a very thorough full body exam) and a very gentle adjustment if needed. I wish I would have brought my son as a new born. They have recently treated my son with neck plain (at 7) which I’m sure he would not have had if seen earlier (he was born sunny side up). My daughter was having some bladder issues that they have corrected as well .I had no idea these issue could be corrected with chiro. Highly recommend their chiropractic services! I have seen Dr. Cheryl and Dr. Taylor for chiropractic care; both have been equally knowledgeable, personable, and effective in their treatments for myself through pregnancy and post-partum. The chiropractic treatments have helped tremendously with sciatic pain, shoulder, neck, and pelvic pain I was experiencing. Also, I believe the treatments helped significantly in having a smooth pregnancy. Dr. Taylor also worked with my husband, who she helped with back pain relief, and my son, who started appointments as a newborn. My son had a lot of tension when he was born and had difficulties feeding. Dr. Taylor was so patient and caring hearing our concerns about potential oral ties. She was so gentle and calm with our baby, and we noticed significant change in the tension of our little guy within a couple of appointments. She was also extremely supportive, knowledgeable and helpful in the journey to getting him breastfeeding. We have been blown away by the team’s thoughtful & caring approach and can’t recommend them enough!
